The installation 10″ has its very first appearance as a part of the exhibition en série. Gently, 12 neon- colored throw rings with a diameter of 25 cm (10 inches) keep circling around their own axis. The rotation of the objects results from the qualities of this throwing toy, which was invented in 1984. Each pair repeats, slightly time-delayed, the movement of the predecessor. The result is a wave-like, almost organic choreography. Due to their slow motion, the proximity to the wall and the numerous shadow casts, the 12 neon rings appear almost graphically in front of the white background.
